2015 | HOF ART RESIDENCY | THAILAND
Starting from an invitation by curator Linjie Zhou, brazilian and thai artists engaged in an artist-in-residency program at the now extinct HOF Art Space. Parada invited the artists André Mendes and Fernando Franciosi, who joined Chalit Nakpawan, Torlarp Larpjaroensook and Jackkrit Anatakul, selected by the curator. The experience culminated in the exhibition Tropikos. Taking place by the end of the residency period, this group show put into dialogue the diversity of the production of these artists, however influenced by the same latitude.
A partir de um convite da curadora Linjie Zhou, artistas brasileiros e tailandeses trabalharam em residência no hoje extinto HOF Art Space. Parada convidou os artistas André Mendes e Fernando Franciosi, que se juntaram aos tailandeses Chalit Nakpawan, Torlarp Larpjaroensook e Jackkrit Anatakul, selecionados pela curadora. A experiência culminou na exposição Tropikos. Realizada ao fim do período, colocava em diálogo a diversidade das produções desses artistas, entretanto influenciados por uma mesma latitude.
